Half Charred Hashi Chopsticks & Rest

$115

Japanese chestnut wood, carved by hand with tips charred by fire, are available with a hand-forged copper chopstick rest, crafted by Eric and Lori Wright

of ME Speak Design at they studio in Georgia. Beyond their aesthetic beauty, we love hashi chopsticks for their function and versatility, the domed, octagonal upper sections gently tapering to precise yet sturdy tips, carved from beautiful, locally sourced hardwood that grasps every morsel with ease while feeling effortless to control. The shou sugi ban technique is used to give each stick a charcoal finish, helping to preserve the wood and giving it a rustic look. The solid brass rest is a simple, elegant tabletop accessory in itself.
