A wonderfully balanced bunka by Casey Vilensky of Lynn Valley Forge, very thin and light enough to feel quick and nimble in the hand, while maintaining enough weigh with ample rigidity to be solid and true in the hand. Forged from a twisted mosaic damascus with outstretched, darkly etched sections of 1084, contrasted by bright bands of 15n20 carbon steel, the blade measures 155mm / 6.1" long and 48mm tall, perfect for quick, and fun, work in just about any cutting job. A tapered, faceted amboyna burl handle, stabilized in-house, is long and very comfortable, accented by a titanium spacer, and of course, the beautiful integral bolster. A matching amboyna burl saya with fordite pin is included.
