Tangled Web We Weave Spoon

Inspiring, playful, and always organic, that is Terry Widner’s approach to wood carving. While crating spoons, scoops, vessels, and decorative pieces in his studio in the US state of Florida, Terry embraces the “not-knowing” aspect of where exactly a given object’s final form will land. This spoon is the “jazz improvisation” of the wood carving, the lucky “accident” that turned a piece of Bottlebrush wood, that survived Hurricane Sandy, into a functional work of art. A small, rounded bowl is perfect for serving, such as scooping grain, coffee, tea, appetizers, and any other creative ways that one would like to use such a unique object.
