A tall, voluptuous, clip point blade profile with especially fine tip and pronounced plunge where Oliver gives shape to the tall, convex blade bevels just in front of the choil, set this new chef knife from Mr. Märtens workshop apart. In 1.2442 tungsten-carbon steel, the blade is all-business, the high, convex bevels slimming to a very fine and hard edge, and tapering forward to a needle-like tip, while a balance of strength and finesse is maintained throughout as we've grown to expect of Oliver. Balanced at the maker's mark stamped into the blade's tang, the knife is comfortable and moves effortlessly in the hand. Removeable for care and maintenance via the retention nut in the rear, the handle in Oliver's recognizable form is shaped from polished ebonite and fitted with a contoured stainless ferrule.
