Forged from W's pattern carbon damascus, an attractive and versatile petty chef handcrafted in Detroit, Michigan by bladesmith Niko Nicolaides. Thin behind the hard, sharp edge, the 150mm / 5.9" blade with well balanced, up-swept profile, provides ample strength and rigidity through the convex bevels for a wide range of tasks, from light butchery and deboning, to long, precise slices. Showing off the house-made damascus's pattern nicely, the integral bolster's curves transition to facets, and beyond to a ring of purple-dyed maple, and finally to a comfortable, beautifully sculpted piece of blue-dyed maple.
