Purple Rain Chef 167mm

A head-turner from tip to handle, this unique build by Nick Rossi features a go-mai (5-layer) blade that includes salvaged wrought iron dragged up by a scallop fisherman off the coast of Maine. The wrought iron is layered atop 15n20, which gives way to the hard, thin, and sharp 1095 carbon steel edge. The handle, origin of the Purple Rain name, features beautifully dyed purple maple wood around a black G10 frame, a purple-anodized titanium ferrule, and a single deep purple micarta pin plus two copper pins.
