Our first chef knife offering from Maine bladesmith Nick Rossi features a 210mm / 8.3" hand-forged damascus blade with a thin, sharp edge, fine tip, and wonderfully versatile profile that will rock on the board and slice like butter. Elegant, deeply etched, and textured, the 1095 and 15n20 blade steels combine to create an edge at 60 HRC that is both stiff and very thin beneath the tall, Western-style bevels that drop from a thin, balanced, and tapered spine which includes Nick's trademark 'hump' above his maker's mark. A beautiful piece of birch burl is gently sculpted to create a hand-filling and comfortable grip, the wood contrasted by a black G10 collar and frame.
