Mallee & Micarta Sujihiki 270mm
A special build by Don Carlos Andrade, this head-turner delivers a 270mm blade which Don has forged to shape with hand tools only, and hardened to produce a beautiful hamon that glows with his usual, silky finish. The long, slim blade is matched to a long, tapered handle, and the knife balances just beautifully, with a 50/50 grind and sharp carbon steel edge that will make it excellent for a variety of slicing and carving tasks. In Don's wa-style handle rendition, premium mallee burl is outfitted with accents of vintage micarta and a single mosaic pin that together give the blade a run for its money as far as good looks go. A cloth-covered saya is included with this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind chef's knife.
