Striking lines are found up and down this k-tip gyuto, the first piece of cutlery in our shop by Dmitriy Popov of DP Custom Knives. The 185mm / 7.2" honyaki blade in W2 showing a gorgeous hamon line is heat treated in-house and hand sanded to a beautiful matte finish. Spalted curly flame boxelder burl is striped with contrasting dark and light grains and matched to a gabon ebony bolster with natural canvas micarta spacer to form a wa handle that is rounded and shaped to perfection. Dmitriy does not miss a detail.
