Two-Tone Gyuto 193mm

A workhorse gyuto by bladesmith Bryan Raquin of France delivers a 193mm / 7.6" blade of house-made san mai steel. A full distal taper along the spine to a needle of a tip and a thin, hard, and sharp edge of 145sc ('super-clean') small-batch carbon steel provide the no-fuss performance and handsome, Japanese-inspired profile Bryan is known for. A polished, rounded spine and choil, with a balance point around one inch in front of the heel, make for abounding comfort in any grip, especially with the hand forward in the pinch grip. A two-tone burn oak handle in Bryan's clean, octagonal form complements the two tone blade, with the scale from the forging process left intact on the blade's flats.
