A very special piece by a very special bladesmith, Bryan Raquin of France's Auvergne Region, is now available in new and unused condition via our customer's private collection. The 358mm / 14.1" blade is forged by hand from Bryan's typical combination of the 'super-clean,' small batch 145sc carbon steel at the core and XC10 outer cladding. The bevels enjoy a foggy, hand-fubbed kasumi finish below forge-finished flats. A long, dark, octagonal handle is shaped from ironwood, and a saya is included.
