Even when stored in the custom-made saya of reclaimed barn siding with carved reindeer antler pin, the beautiful handle, a work of art in its own right, extends boldly outward through Mattias' forged bolster, a ring of walrus tusk, stunningly figured birch burl, a large mosaic pin, and a single brass pin.
