A masterpiece in spoon form, hand made by Terry Widner of Spoontaneous at his studio in Florida. The heavily hand carved, jet-black ebony boasts seventy-six individual fine silver inlays, a meticulous performance of an extraordinary concept. Terry himself comments on this spoon as "one of the most tactile spoons that has come from my shop." Although it may appear too decorative to be functional, it feels wonderful in the hand, the silver protruding barely enough to remind the user of the marriage of wood and metal. The handle is finished with beeswax, and the petite bowl is elegant and elongated, deep enough for scooping and serving at the table.
