Where else do the outlines of a female figure interact with the rich grain of spalted oak in such harmony? For the opportunity to experience this beautiful occurrence, we thank the creative and talented Terry Widner of Spoontaneous, whose imagination for form knows no limitations. He accepts the coincidences of nature, and enhances their meaning. In this case, the spalted piece of oak had a small hole near the tip of the scoop, so Terry decided to let nature perform its magic instead of giving in to the impulse of the perfect, man-made cliche state of mind to which we're so accustomed.
