From a tangle of steel, Vermont bladesmith Nick Anger draws a blade like no other. Through heat and intense pressure, the alloys of carbon steel are contorted into a solid, smooth, single entity that Nick then transforms into a high-performance tool for the chef. Thin, sharp, and hard at the edge, the 225mm / 8.9" blade features Nick's tall, compound 'S-grind' geometry and stands 72mm tall at the heel for power and versatility. For a simple, comfortable and gently sculpted handle, black micarta is paired with red oak.
