Nick Anger combines a classic and elegant form, including a slim, beautifully shaped handle of brown maple, with a unique and captivating mosaic damascus blade composition that creates a path of undulating dark and light lines between sections of single-alloy steel, flowing in an arch that matches the edge's profile. Strong and sturdy at the spine and thin at the edge and tip, the 140mm / 5.5" blade stands 48mm tall, creating a pronounced upswept curve along the edge that rocks quite satisfyingly on the cutting board. From Nick's sculpted integral bolster, the handle expands first through alternating rings of black canvas micarta and white G10, and finally in to a piece of maple with such depth and grain that we cannot look away.
