Forged by hand from a house-made steel formula that combines copper with modern wrought to form the cladding over a core of 80crv2 carbon steel, the blade is weighted, precisely hardened, and very thin at the razor-sharp edge. Behind a rounded and polished blade spine and choil is a simple, beautiful handle of lace oak with rings carved in the rear where a forward taper begins, and a Tasmanian Oak dowel to receive the blade's tang in the front.
