A unique and beautiful build from Wisconsin bladesmith Isaiah Schroeder in a profile to slay vegetables and rule the kitchen. Shaped from Damasteel stainless damascus, the 162mm / 6.4" blade stands 59mm tall at the heel and delivers superbly balanced geometry to the cutting board, weighted for effortless cuts and thin below convex bevels for precision with every movement. The handle, the source of the knife's name, is exquisite. Isaiah has wrapped cast shibuichi, the copper alloy which includes a portion of sterling silver in its composition, with oak burl, to create a comfortable and beautiful grip that fits this culinary tool perfectly. For safe carry, a saya in pear wood with shibuichi pin is included.
