This beautiful, balanced, and versatile honesuki chef's knife forged to shape by bladesmith Don Carlos Andrade provides an exquisite, 187mm / 7.4" blade with the strength and durability of a honesuki, and the broader profile and dimensions of a chef knife, perfect for all variety of daily meal prep. A foggy, clay-induced hamon line on the etched, polished 1095 carbon steel blade is contrasted by polished and rounded spine and choil, with no detail overlooked. As comfortable as it is unique and attractive, the G-carta handle, which gives the knife its 'Marine' feel, shows the grains of the blue and orange natural fibers used to create it, and is fastened with four hand hammered stainless-steel pins. A custom cloth-covered saya is included.
