Kissing Fish Damascus Spatula

Master bladesmith David Lisch threaded the needle with this striking, one-of-a-kind spatula, handmade from forged iron and his Kissing Fish pattern damascus. The detail work at the top of the handle, where David created a unique design element that is as functional as it is beautiful, quite literally required that he thread the material through itself, resulting in the extraordinary, rustic and attractive form that provides superb comfort and control while wielding this culinary tool. A mosaic pattern conceived and designed by David, forged from 1080 and 15n20 carbon steels, depicting fish coming together for a smooch, forms the spatula's head, built for generations of flipping and turning inside in the kitchen or out at the grill.
