Here, though, Milan dialed back the shine, leaving the surface with a more subdued, matte presence rather than a polished brightness. Stone-shaped, stone-polished bevels, finished on the same fine Nakayama natural stone, taper with convexity to a finer, slimmer blade than usual. The spine, polished and rounded for comfort, slims steadily resulting in a touch of lateral flexibility in the forward inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe handle marks the bigger departure: a Western profile in bog oak, dark and richly figured, capped with a large, deliberately rustic-finished stainless steel bolster.
